
The Lead Pastor will be available to officiate at weddings, funerals, baptisms and child dedications. Concern for people will be essential to provide congregational care and visitation in cooperation with the Board of Directors. Expertise and experience will be required to provide short-term counseling in cooperation with the staff and Dream Team. The Lead Pastor needs to encourage and lead in the discipline of prayer. Our Lead Pastor needs to develop a caring, shepherding relationship with the congregation. The lead pastor will be responsible for directing the Sunday worship services. Our Lead Pastor needs to be a preacher and student of the Word of God, supporting healthy discussions of Scripture that encourage unity in the body of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God and make Him known to the world.THREE ROLES OF THE LEAD PASTOR Preaching Ministry Each believer is given a gift to contribute to the body, and this body works in unity in fulfilling the Great Commission. The church is the Body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The blood of Jesus Christ was shed for the forgiveness of sin and it is by placing faith in His death and resurrection that we receive salvation. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or human effort. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit encounters a person upon their belief and confession that Jesus is Lord, and provides empowerment and gifts for the advancement of God’s Kingdom. The Holy Spirit was sent to empower the Church in spreading the gospel throughout the whole earth. The Holy Spirit is the promise from the father and was sent by Jesus after His ascension to heaven. He rose three days later and will someday return to Earth to reign as the King. (Matthew 1:23 John 3:16 I Corinthians 15:3-4 Matthew 24:27-31 Revelation 21:1-8) the holy spirit On earth, Jesus lived a life free of sin and offered Himself as the sacrifice for all of our sins by dying on a cross. Jesus Christ is the God the Son, born of a virgin. These three are co-equal and co-eternal, each possessing all the attributes of deity.

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It alone is the final authority in determining how we live our lives.
